Each purchase of 'Always Happy To Meet The Locals' donates €1 to Let's Be S.M.A.R.T. Animal Rescue — a wonderful Athens-based charity rescuing, sterilising, sheltering and rehoming cats and dogs worldwide.
 
This is a matter close to my heart, and one I have ongoing first-hand experience of myself. Having lived in Greece for over 30 years, I can honestly say that the stray cat dilemma and the suffering of cats in Greece,  are very much ongoing issues. 
 
But Let's Be S.M.A.R.T. is changing that — one animal at a time. From hands-on rescue and TNR programmes to community education, this small but mighty team makes a genuine difference every single day. With nearly 19 years of experience, 1,000+ adoptions and 4,750+ sterilisations, they're one of the most dedicated animal welfare organisations in the country.
